About us
We are a family-oriented dental practice with practices in Ballinasloe and Portumna in Co Galway.

Principal dentists:
Dr Mary Rothwell is a graduate of the Dublin Dental School and Hospital at Trinity College, Dublin. She practiced for several years after graduation before returning home to Ballinasloe in 1996. Since then, Mary has developed a strong and well-known dental surgery which has expanded over the years.

Dr Aidan McGrath graduated from the Dublin Dental School and Hospital at Trinity College, Dublin. He came to Ballinasloe in 1996 and with Mary, has lead the development of the practice in the intervening years.

The surgeries have the latest equipment, with OPG imagery in use at the Portumna and Dunlo Street surgeries.

Six associate dentists are available to treat patients through the three surgeries ensuring that patients can be seen at relatively short notice.

We have three hygienists available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Medical card, PRSI and private patients are all welcome to avail of the wide range of services.

Hygienists:
Dr Naoise McGrath RDH We are delighted to have Naoise McGrath RDH join our Dental Hygienist Team. From the 20th of July we will have a dental hygienist service available in our Portumna Practice every Tuesday and Thursday.This service will also be extended in our Ballinasloe Practice to include every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
